James W. “Jim” Wallace Jr., age 72 of Monclova, Ohio died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. Jim was born March 13, 1940 to James W. and Betty M. (Clyne) Wallace and on August 6, 1994 he married Wendy J. Kutzke in Monclova, Ohio. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was formerly employed by Crittenton Hospital in Rochester MI as an Assistant Director of Maintenance before moving to St. Luke’s Hospital where he was became their Director of Maintenance for 30 years. For ten years, Jim worked as an Independent Contractor in the trucking industry. In his spare time, Jim was a volunteer EMT/Fireman for Monclova Township, a member of the Ygar Veterans and he enjoyed model railroads, amateur radio and he loved gadgets of all kinds. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Wendy J. Wallace; children, David J.(Theresa) Wallace, Alan S. (Kathy) Wallace, Daniel L. Wallace and Neal D. (Kris) Grooms; grandchildren, Dustin and Kela Grooms as well as his brother, Larry (Dawn) Wallace. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 2-8:00 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Dennis King, officiating. Burial will follow in Roth Memorial Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Providence Lutheran Church.
