James A Stevens

James A. Stevens, 74, formerly of Maumee, currently of Toledo passed away peacefully Monday, January 21, 2008 in the Medical University of Ohio Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 30, 1933 in Maumee, OH. Jim worked in the Heat-Treat area of Peterson-Springs for 32 years, retiring in 1995. A parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Maumee Jim also enjoyed Cedar Point and the Henry Ford Museum. Jim was a member of the UAW. Jim is survived by his wife of 10 years, Linda Gerbich Stevens; daughter, Robin Fritz Kunz; and grandchildren, Brandi Casey, Sean Casey and Fritzie Kunz, IV. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Joyce and Don Kirchner. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee.
