James Bernard Reynolds

James Bernard Reynolds, 73, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday December 31, 2025. Jim was born on August 23, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to Bernard and Judy (Bella) Reynolds. He graduated from Genoa Area High School in 1971. On September 16, 1982, Jim married the love of his life, Laurie (Auxter). Jim worked in construction his entire career, retiring in 2015. He loved the outdoors and, in his younger years, could most often be found hunting or fishing. Later in life, he found joy in gardening, tending to his birdhouses, and going on Sunday drives with his wife. Jim also enjoyed trips to the casino, scratch-off tickets, and telling stories from his glory days. Nothing made him happier than a cup of coffee with some toast on the side

Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Laurie; daughters Kelly (Danny) Frye and Lindsay (Ira) Turner; grandchildren, Blake and Mackenzie Kowalski and Iry and Abel Turner, his pride and joys; along with many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 siblings, and his beloved dog, Cassie.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Robinson Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa Ohio. Services will remain private. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge.
