James G. Momenee

James Jim G. Momenee, age 83, of Monclova, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on April 12, 1933 to Delbert and Beatrice (Cousino) Momenee. Jim graduated from Clay High and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Toledo Edison for 41 years, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee, Ohio and the American Legion in Whitehouse, Ohio. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid walker. Most of all, Jim loved being with his family and will be greatly missed by all of them. Jim is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Marie J. (Mark) Brazeau; son, Gerald J. (Susan) Momenee; daughter, Marlene T. (Larry) Neyhart; daughter, Melissa R. Freeworth; grandchildren, Mallorie, Marissa, Michael, Jeanine, Matt, Steven, Sarah, Dean, Brittany, Haley, Emma and Natalie; sister, Marian Berryman and brother, William Momenee. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Joseph. Family and friends will be received from 3-8 pm on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio with the Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Prayers will begin in the funeral home at 10 am on Monday, August 8, 2016 with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund.
