James Larry Mitchell

James Larry Mitchell, age 70, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Larry was born in Owensboro, KY on December 14, 1942 to John Edward and Frances Eileen Mitchell. An educator for much of his life, Larry was the former owner of Stautzenberger College and currently taught part-time at Owens Community College. He was also the CEO of Logo Imprints, a promotional products company. Larry was an avid golfer and also enjoyed horse racing and playing poker. Larry is survived by his wife, Terri Gardner Mitchell; daughter, Beth Chris Jennings; son, Daniel Hilary Mitchell; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sister, Norma Robert Hoaglund; and brothers, J. Patrick and J. Stephen Debbie Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Mitchell. A memorial service will be held at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00am.
