James V Merker

James V. "Jim" Merker, 69 of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away Thursday, August 6th, 2020 with his daughter by his side. He was the son of the late Paul A Merker & Margaret Merker. Jim was born at Magruder hospital Dec.10 1950. He attended Port Clinton High School where he played football. He he graduated from PCHS 1969 from there he went on to Kent State University where he studied Forestry. Jim worked at Outwest in Las Vegas for 42 yrs. Jim is survived by his daughter,Michelle Willoughby, grandchildren,Logan Willoughby, Ian Willoughby, & Haley Willoughby and great-grandson Landen Willoughby all of Port Clinton, brother, Paul M Merker of Dominican Republic.He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Jaime Merker. No Services are scheduled at this time do to COVID-19. A celebration of Jim's life may be planned at a later time.
