James "Butch" E. Kingree, Jr.

James E. “Butch” Kingree, Jr., 63, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, July 23, 2022, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, after a short illness. He was born on May 15, 1959, in Prince William County, Virginia, to James E. and Dorothy Mae (Fletcher) Kingree. He married the love of his life, Jacquline M. (Gaskalla), in Port Clinton, on November 11, 2011. Butch was a truck driver hauling steel for more than 40 years, as an owner/operator and for PGT Trucking Co., Monaca, Pennsylvania.

Butch was an avid car fan, collecting and working on many over the years. Stock car racing was in his blood, and he was right at home racing at Norwalk Speedway. He was always watching TV programs about fixing, modifying, and making them go faster! He and Jacquline could be found looking through flea markets and attending auctions to find the next unique item. Butch so loved his family and looked forward to their many camping trips to Loudenville, Ohio to enjoy the beauty of nature.

Butch is survived by his loving wife, Jacquline, stepchildren, Melissa (Daryl Green, Sr.) Santoya, and Erica Santoya, step-grandchildren, Dariona Green, Daryl Green, Jr., Dejay Green, and his sister, Donna S., and her husband George Allen McMurray, nieces, Alisha McMurray, Allison McMurray-Gilleland, nephews, Matthew, Andrew, and Clayton McMurray. He was preceded in death by his parents, James, Sr, and Dorothy Mae Kingree.

A funeral service for Butch will be held at 12:00 Noon, on Thursday, July 28, 2022, in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St. Port Clinton, Ohio. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow in the Sackett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K.
