It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, James (Jim) Connell on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the age of 79. He was preceded and death by his parents. Jim was a Human Resource Manager at the Rossford Plant of the former Libbey Owens Ford Company (LOF) for 35 years, when he retired in 2000. He bowled in the prestigious Toledo Blade Classic Bowling League for many years. Two of his biggest individual achievements were: holding a city record along with his teammates and bowling a 300. Jim was a family-oriented man who adored his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed polka dancing with his wife, golfing with his LOF league and watching his kids play sports.
