James George Howard

James G. Howard, age 86, of Waterville, OH passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born June 21, 1924 in Toledo to James C. and Ida M. Faud Howard. Jim served in the US Army during WWII. He was employed by the City of Toledo and then worked for Chrysler Jeep as an electrician for many years, retiring in 1986. Jim was a member of the American Legion 82nd Airborne Division Association and Disabled Veterans. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Jim will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lucille Watras Howard, whom he married April 23, 1947; sons, James W. Beverly Howard and Glen A. Jean Howard; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth Bill Hayes and Martha Ken Leitner. There will be no visitation or services.
