James Nelson Hoffmann

James N. Hoffmann age 57 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015. Jim was born in Toledo, OH on April 26, 1958 to Robert and Jean Ann (McCormick) Hoffmann. He owned and operated Hoffmann Tree Service and was a musician. Jim loved his guitar and playing in a band with his friends, not to mention the Grateful Dead. He also enjoyed snow skiing in Colorado. Jim is survived by his sister, Amy (Jeffrey) Dimmock; brother, John Hoffmann; nephews, Jason and Andrew; niece, Lisa (Rob) and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Timothy and Michael and grandmother, Hazel Hoffmann. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Wednesday, July, 8, 2015 from 3-8 PM. Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, at 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, Perrysburg. Interment will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
