James M. Hanthorn, 46, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 6, 2009, in Graytown, Ohio. Jim was born in Port Clinton, Ohio, on January 6, 1963, to Joseph M. and Jeannette A. Dewitz Hanthorn. He married Marilea A. Magrum in Fremont, Ohio on July 8, 1989. Jim was a CNC Programmer for the Brush-Wellman Company in Elmore for the past 11 years. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking and metalworking. Survivors include his wife, Marilea Magrum-Hanthorn, children, Michael J. Hanthorn, Brielle A. Hanthorn, and Blake J. Hanthorn, his parents, Joseph and Jeannette Hanthorn of Elmore, siblings, Becky Roger Kwiatkowski of Toledo, David Rhonda Hanthorn of Gibsonburg, and grandchild Mackenzie Hanthorn. A graveside service for Jim will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2009, in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, Ohio. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 122 W. Ottawa St., Oak Harbor, for a luncheon and time of fellowship. The family suggests contributions in Jims memory to the minor Hanthorn children, in care of US Bank, 215 W. Water St., Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Genoa is assisting the family with arrangements.
