James Jim Goldstein, 63, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, died at his home, early Thursday morning, December 20, 2012. Jim was born February 27, 1949, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to James W. and Beverly Miles Goldstein. He married Pauline Mossbarger on August 10, 1968, in Oak Harbor and she survives. Jim had worked as a mechanical engineer at Fremont Plastic Molds. He was a member of the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church, where he had been very active, and a member of the Promise Keepers. One of Jims hobbies was flying remote control airplanes, but his most loved hobby was his grandchildren. Jim served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his wife, Pauline, Jim is survived by his daughters, Pamela Jordan James and Michelle Daniel Ulrich, grandchildren, Leah, Amanda, Kaylee, Chelsey, Sky and Isaiah, sisters, Jill Phil VanBuren Hickey and Joan Tom Dean, and brother, Jerry Beckie Goldstein. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Arian Goldstein, and nieces, Megan, Arica, Faith and Hope Goldstein. Visitation will be at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2012, and 2-8 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012, with family present 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2012, at the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery and a military graveside service by the American Legion Post #114 of Oak Harbor. The family has suggested memorials to Oak Harbor United Methodist Church, 360 E. Ottawa St., Oak Harbor, OH 43449.
