James L. Gillingham

James Lynn Gillingham, age 68, died Monday, August 25, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.  Jim was born May 18, 1946 in Wauseon to Raymond and Jean Gillingham.  Jim was a truck driver for ABF Trucking and will be remembered as a hard worker.  A former bowler, Jim enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing poker and traveling during his free time.  He was an active member of Teamster Local 20 Retirees and served as both president and vice-president.  Jim enjoyed a good cup of coffee in the afternoon with his friends at his favorite McDonalds. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Jackie, Patrick and Matthew Gillingham; grandchildren, Tresha, Jasmine, Justin, and Edward; great-grandson, Cameron; and brother, Larry Gillingham. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) with a sharing of memories service at 7:00 p.m.  Online condolences may be shared at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
