JAMES E. STEWART James E. “Jim” Stewart, age 83, of Perrysburg died Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home. He was born November 2, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to Chester E. and Lillian Stewart. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Korean War. He was a graduate of the University of Toledo where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. On July 30, 1965 he married Barbara C. Tober. Jim was an entrepreneur by nature, earlier in his career Jim worked as an Accountant, later he developed and created several businesses in the Toledo area. He was also an accomplished builder having built several homes in the Perrysburg community. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Janet Rush and Elaine (Dan Kory) Canning; grandchildren, Katherine Canning, Jessica (Michael Bertner) Canning and Stephen (Kayla) Rush. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister, Jeanne Allen. In honoring Jim’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and burial will be private.
