JAMES ALLAN ELKINGTON James Allan Elkington, 70, of Perrysburg, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Manor of Perrysburg. Jim was born February 3, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio to Harold L. and Alice V. (Sandberg) Elkington. He proudly served our country in The Vietnam War. Jim adored animals and lived in the Perrysburg area for over 30 years. He is survived by his sister, Barb (Ron) Briggs-Hadden; nephews, Kevin (Kim) Royston, Bryan (Lindsey) Royston and Jeff Royston and niece, Amy Royston. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11 AM at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH, 43560. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Memorial contributions may be made in Jim’s name to The Wood Country Humane Society or The Toledo Zoo.
