James W. Doan, 74, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, formerly of Southington, Ohio, died suddenly Monday, December 6, 2010, in Genoa, Ohio. James was born March 7, 1936, in Union City, Pennsylvania. He worked as a scale repairman for the former Copperweld Steel in Warren, Ohio, now Warren Steel. James was also a U.S. Navy veteran. Surviving James are his children, Edward Doan of Franklin, OH, DiAnn Robert Guerrero of Graytown, OH, and Pam Doan of Toledo, OH, eight grandchildren, brothers, Bill Dorothy and Bob Joy Doan, sister-in-law, Janet Doan, and many nieces and nephews. His parents and brother, John Doan, preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Warren, Ohio. The family has suggested memorials for James to the donors choice. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Genoa has assisted the family with arrangements.
