James N. Chapman, 85, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at Heartland of Waterville. He was born in Akron, Ohio, on October 13, 1927 to James W. and Irene (Noble) Chapman. James proudly served his county in the Army. He was Vice President of Operations for the Gladieux Corporation for over 30 years. He enjoyed being on the water, especially Lake Erie and going on cruises. He ran, performed and produced many shows at the Westgate Dinner Theatre, in Toledo, until its close, as well as the Masonic Auditorium. He is survived by his loving daughters, Debbie (Michael) Dey, Rebecca Carnes and Jacqueline (Roland) Kelly nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and former wife, Patricia. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mary Louise Chapman and brothers, Robert, Warner and Thomas Chapman. Friends will be received from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528, 419-865-8879 where a memorial services will begin at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be held privately at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the National Parkinson’s Foundation.
