James H. Brown, age 84 , of Maumee, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 14 2017. He was born on January 26, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio to Homer and Melda (Ling) Brown. Jim was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and Maumee Community Church in Maumee. He enjoyed playing tennis and was a member of the Laurel Hills Tennis Club. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sharon (Kneip) Brown; daughter, Kelynn (David) Sollmann; son, James E. Brown; grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron) Williams and David Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Walter Bud Brown, Sally Momsen, Norma Schaiberger, Peggy Smith and Mitzi Lorigan. Visitation will be held from 3-8 on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker, 501 Conant Steet, Maumee, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral services at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 112 East Wayne Street, Maumee, Ohio. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Pauls Lutheran Church or Maumee Community Church.
