James V. Benschoter, Jr.

James V. Benschoter, Jr. “Benny” passed away April 7, 2024. An avid coin collector, car enthusiast and personal chef, Jim graduated from Ottawa Hills High School and attended the University of Toledo. He was formerly employed by Ben-E-Lene Exterminators.

Jim's last years were spent in a nursing facility where he garnered friendships with health care workers and his amazing guardian, Bill Bingle.

Preceded in death by his loving parents, Jim and Helen Benschoter, he is survived by a sister, Joy Williams; nephew, Todd Williams; niece, Ashley Williams; and grandnieces, Madelyn and Delaney Williams.

His cremated remains will join those of his parents at Sand Lake - his favorite fishing site.
