James W. Bennett

James W. Bennett, 68, of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Perrysburg, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Regency Hospital. He was born to Leigh C. and Mary L. (Losi) Bennett in Meriden, Connecticut on February 16, 1943. He married Mary Blackburn on October 10, 1988 in Williamsburg, VA. James was employed at Cuno Manufacturing as a Plant Manager for over 30 years before retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg, Ohio. James is survived by his loving sons, James, Robert and Michael Bennett, all of Connecticut and Patrick Bennett of Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and sister, Janet. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Blackburn) Bennett and parents. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 10, 2012 in St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St., Perrysburg, Ohio, 43551. Burial will be private. Those considering an expression of sympathy are asked to consider St. Rose Catholic Church or the family.
