James W. Archambeau age 91, formerly of Monclova, OH passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. Jim was born in Yale South Dakota on August 19, 1918 to William E. and Nellie Corrigan Achambeau. Jim was a truck driver for 22 years for the former Nicholson Concrete Company retiring in 1976. He also farmed and raised hogs. Jim was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, former member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, Maumee, Maumee Elks; and member of The Good Sams Club and Nicholson Concrete Retirees. Jim and his wife Dorothy traveled all 50 states, most of them in their motor home. Jim also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his daughters, Mary Lou George Bock, Jane Dan Archambeau-Dombrowsky; grandchildren, Liz Bock, Bridget Luke Habegger and Megan Ryan Stretavski; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Brady, Addie and Alina; and sister, Lucile Bob Kiefer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Jane Archambeau; his parents; and brothers, Ken, Francis and Thomas Archambeau. Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee on Thursday March 11, 2010 from 3-8 pm where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery, Maumee.
