Jacquoline L. Ames

Jacquoline L. Ames, 81, of Geneva, OH and formerly of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Friday, November 20, 2009 at Austinburg Rehabilitation Center, Austinburg OH. She was born on March 26, 1928 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Hugh and Althea Kreager Ridley. On February 08, 1947 in Port Clinton, OH, Jacquoline married Harold Ames and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2008. Jacquoline was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH. She was a past member of the Elks Lodge #1718 and the Moose Lodge #1610. Jacquoline will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Ronald Ames of Ashtabula, OH, Jeffrey Ames of Madison, Ricky Lucy Ames of Geneva, OH; Daughter: Judy Citriglia of Mentor, OH; Sisters: Patsy Smith of Oberlin, OH and Barbara Swope of Bend, OR; Brother: Dennis Ridley of Buena Park, CA. Jacquoline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother: Robert Simon, sisters: Shirley Gensel, Audrey Cornell, Marian Wilkinson and half sister: Alana Labine. Visitation will be from 1-3PM, Monday, November 30, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend James Lehman at 3:00PM following visitation. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in memory of Jacquoline to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
