Jacqueline L Gearig

Jacqueline Gearig, age 60, of Maumee passed away on April 10, 2015 in her home. Jacqueline was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 1, 1954 to Jack & Rose (Booth) Tocco. She married Scott Gearig in Toledo on April 25, 1987. A Bowsher HS graduate, Jacqueline was an Ohio State fan, loved reading, being on the beach and being with family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her loving husband, Scott; son, Corey Fountain & Emily Konecki; daughter, Alison (Eric) Kish; grandchildren, Jayla & Kya Kish; father, Jack Tocco; and sister, Sandy (Joe) Accera. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Tocco. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4 to 7 pm. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations in Jacqueline’s memory be made to Evans Scholars or a charity of the donor’s choice.
