Jacqueline Jean (Bosch) Fuleky, age 45, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital during a surgical procedure. She had been valiantly fighting melanoma for 20 months and with this surgery Jackie was hoping for her “NED.” Jackie was born on February 25, 1969 in Toledo, Ohio to Tony Jr. and Lillian Bosch. Jackie is survived by her devoted husband and love of her life Joseph Fuleky and three darling daughters, MacKenzie, Sydney, and Alexa; mother Lillian Bosch; in-laws, James Cheryl Fuleky; siblings, Mary (Bosch) Yark; Jill (Bosch) Frenzel (Mike) and Anthony R. Bosch (Becky), plus many nieces and nephews. Jackie was predeceased by her father Tony Bosch Jr., brother-in-law, Jim Yark, and nephew, Scott Frenzel. Jackie attended Notre Dame High school in Toledo. She was on the volleyball team and a cheerleader. She graduated from University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in education. She was a founding member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Jackie earned her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Toledo. Jackie started teaching 2nd and elementary grades; followed by a long career as a High School Guidance Counselor. She worked 19 years for the Maumee School System. Jackie was a beloved member of the Maumee High School staff and Panther Nation. “Her optimism, spirit, and positive outlook during her fight with cancer was inspirational. She was our rock and we will miss her terribly.” The Maumee Student Community Service Project “Fighting for Fuleky” received First Place at the Ohio DECA Career Development Conference. “Fighting for Fuleky” went on to win First Place at the International DECA Competitive Event. Jackie was an avid Caring Bridge supporter and documented her melanoma cancer journey to help others. She was committed to this cancer site and had many followers. She was a pioneer at NIH for TIL (Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes) Treatment. Jackie had a strong faith in God and loved her family. Jackie had a love and a zest for life. Jackie was a fantastic example of making the most of every day and every situation. We are rejoicing for Jackie and her place in heaven. Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Sunday October 5, 2014 from 2-7pm with a Rosary service at 7pm. Funeral services will begin on Monday with 9:30am prayers at the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass of the Resurrection at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane Toledo, Ohio 43623.
