Jacqueline Marie Crone

Jacqueline Marie Crone, 65, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

She was born April 28, 1961, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Kenneth C. and Nina S. (Harris) Crone. Jacqueline graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1980. For the past 18 years, she had worked as the kitchen manager at Wild Wings Restaurant & Lounge in Oak Harbor. Previously, she served as kitchen manager at Toussaint Tavern and The Oaks.

Jacqueline was a loving mother and grandmother, and her granddaughter, Elaina, was her treasured joy. She cherished the time they spent together and enjoyed making memories with family and friends. Jacqueline also enjoyed crocheting, reading, and taking vacations with those she loved.

Jacqueline could sometimes come across as a tough cookie, but beneath that exterior was a true teddy bear. She was never shy about telling you exactly what she thought, whether you wanted to hear it or not, but you always knew where she stood. She was a great friend and a good listener who was always there for the people she cared about. Jacqueline was also known for her colorful personality and could often be seen wearing her favorite tie-dye clothing. Her genuine, straightforward nature and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jacqueline is survived by her son, Kenneth W. (Nichole Weber) Mincer; granddaughter, Elaina Mincer; brother, Mike (Carol) Crone; and close friends, Julie Glass-Finken and Tina Biggert. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and Gary Crone; and sister, Mary Lou Weirich.

Visitation for Jacqueline will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 2-8 p.m. at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Rusha Cemetery, Carroll Township, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a college scholarship fund established for her granddaughter, Elaina.
