Jackie L. Zunk

Jackie Lynn Zunk, 63, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at her residence after an extended illness.  She was born on July 23, 1958 in Port Clinton, OH to Robert J. and Beverly (Brackett) Bebow.  On July 7, 2001 in Port Clinton, OH she married Lynwood “Sam” Zunk, and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2017.  Jackie graduated from Oak Harbor High School and worked for years cleaning houses in the area.  She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor.  Jackie enjoyed perch fishing, gardening, taking care of her lawn and flowers, bird watching, and her dogs, especially Oscar.  Jackie was a sweet, yet very strong woman, especially these past 5 years while she’s had to endure the loss of family and health issues.

Jackie is survived by her brother, Mark (Kim) Bebow, step-children, Jeff (Lisa) Zunk and Jason (Tina) Zunk, nieces, Kelly (Charles) Hoskins, Laura (Dereck) Gerber, and Heather (Tom) Davis, nephews, Jacob Bebow and Logan Bebow, great nieces & nephews, 9 step-grandchildren, 1 great step-grandson, Cousin Shelly, Aunt Norma, and her dog, Oscar.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
