On the early morning hours of Saturday, October 7, 2017, Jackie M. Frankevic was called home to be with the Lord. She was born in Waynesboro, TN on November 23, 1939 to John and Lona Minton. They moved to Toledo when Jackie was just 6 years old. She attended Woodward High School, and in 1956 met her soulmate and future husband, Ronald Frankevic. Ron and Jackie dated for 2 years before they married on November 15, 1958. They completed each other in every way possible and although they may be separated here on Earth, their love is eternal. Jackie knew her strengths well and went on to earn a license as a managing cosmetologist. Even if you were unaware of her profession, it became clear almost immediately after meeting her due to her perfectly styled hair. Jackie’s favorite job and the one she was most proud of was being a mother to her 3 sons, Steve, Larry and John. Her heart became completely full when she became a grandmother to her 6 beautiful grandchildren. Devon, Adisyn, Keegan, Gage, Reid and Holden Frankevic. Jackie is preceded in death by both of her parents John and Lona; stepfather Jess Conklin; sisters Marvella and Betty; brother John; and son-in-law John Cereso. She is survived by her loving husband Ron; sons Steve (Marla), Larry, and John (Michelle); her 6 grandchildren; sister LaVerne (Denny) Brewer; and brother Roy (Cathy) Minton. As a mother, grandmother and overall remarkable woman, Jackie had a wonderful combination of warmth, kindness, laughter and love. She overlooked all faults, encouraged dreams, praised every success, and loved unconditionally. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 11 at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 222 East South Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH 43551 (419-874-3133) from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church 217 East Front St., Perrysburg, OH 43551 with burial to follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery in Perrysburg, OH.
