Jack G. Stahl

Jack Glendale Stahl, aged 81, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 8, 2024. He was born on September 7th, 1943 to Gloyd and Nellie Stahl.

He worked for Barron Steel as a die repairer for 27 years. After they shut down, he spent the rest of his life doing anything and everything he could for his loved ones. He was a jokester at heart, was always thinking of everyone but himself, and honest to a fault. He enjoyed playing card games with loved ones, building things, collecting trains, and working any kind of puzzle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda Stahl, sisters June Taylor, Joanne Vermilyea, and Jean Porter, great-grandson Benjamin Stahl.

He is survived by his sisters Jane Thayer and Judy Grice, brother John Stahl, daughter Amy Kangars-Sherette (Mat Sherette), son Bruce Stahl, grandchildren Brian Stahl (Brittany Stahl), Mackenzie Kangars, and Cameron Sherette, great-grandchildren Brendon and Brynleigh Stahl, close friend Mary Tarr, and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held for Jack on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave.) with a service beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers a memorial gift can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Jack.
