Jack Lauren Karsten

Jack L. Karsten age 72 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home. Jack was born in Toledo on May 27, 1948 to Jack G. and Joyce L. (Bricker) Karsten. He was a 1966 graduate of Maumee High School. Jack was self-employed as a consultant with IHN. He was a U.S. Veteran serving with the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. Jack was a very spiritual man and often ministered to others. He loved to play golf and was a member of the NRA. Surviving are his children, Jacqualynn, Kristian and Ali Karsten; siblings, Janelle Karsten, Jamie Pierman, Jerry (Karen) Karsten, Janis (Howard) Graves, Jeffry (Nadine) Karsten and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his canine best friend, Brutus. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 3:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Cherry Street Mission, 1501 Monroe St, Toledo, OH 43604.
