Jack Dennis Hughes

Jack D. Hughes, age 83, of Monclova passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2015 in the comfort of his home. He was born on December 11, 1931 in Leslie, West Virginia to Lowell and Ruth (Thomas) Hughes. He retired from L.O.F in 1983 after 30 years. Jack enjoyed working in his yard, outdoor activities, motorcycles and most of all his beloved family. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn; daughters, Brenda (Bruce) Johnson, Irene Glenn, Marlene Hughes; grandchildren, Billie-Jo, Beth (Rick), Brandon (Becky), Zachary, Sara (Neal), Courtney (Branden), Mallory, Nicholas (Katie) and Amber; great grandchildren, Wesley, Bentley, Anthony and Alison; siblings, Ronney Thomas, Lee Leason and Dorothy (Vern) Dusseau and sisters-in-law, Marcie Craig(Joe) and Helga Hughes. He is also survived by special family friends, Keith and Karen Boehm and many other family and friends. Jack is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lowell, Gene, and Shelba Young. Visitation will be held on Monday September 14, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Funeral services will be private.
