Jack C. Buffington, 64, of Toledo, OH and formerly of Genoa, passed away, Monday, May 12, 2008 at Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born on September 26, 1943 in Toledo, OH to Wilbur and Betty Martin Buffington. On October 24, 1980 in St. John United Church of Christ, he married Rojene Oberhaus and she survives. Jack served in the United States Army. He worked as a lawn mower repairman. Jack was a member of the Genoa Christian Church. He loved fishing, gardening, country music, his dog and repairing lawn mowers. Jack will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Rojene Buffington; Daughters: Rayetta Mike Buffington and Hillary Jake Ramsey; Son: Lincoln Buffington; Grandchildren: Christopher Shirk, Amberlynn Ramsey and Raiden Buffington; Brothers: Wilbur, Richard and Clarence Buffington and many loving nieces and nephews and special friends Maxie and Billie Sellers. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Betty June Lehman. A memorial service will be held at 11am Monday May 19, 2008 at the Genoa Christian Church, Genoa, OH where the family will be present from 9 am until the time of the service. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Veterans Association.
