Jack O. Ballard

Jack O. Ballard, 74, of Oak Harbor died Wednesday afternoon, February 27, 2019, at his home. Jack was born December 27, 1944, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Albert H. and Nelly M. (Ireland) Ballard. He drove truck for Roadway Express and had owned Ballard Pallet Co. Years ago he had also owned a restaurant/bar. Jack served in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his sons, Rodney W. Ballard of Cary, NC, and Keith A. Ballard of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Linda Donnelly of Rudolph, OH, Betty Rauch of Pemberville, OH, Karen Mason of Rudolph, OH and Don Ballard of Georgia. His parents and wife, Linda (Martin) Ballard, preceded him in death. Per the familys wishes, there will be no visitation or services. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Oak Harbor has assisted the family with arrangements.
