Jacalyn A. Morgan

Jacalyn A. Morgan, 62, of Deshler, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Toledo Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. Jacalyn was the daughter of Arvon C. and Ivy A. (Simpson) Morgan, born in Bangor, Maine on July 7, 1960.

Jacalyn described herself as a free-spirited person who enjoyed all things. She was a loving mother and grandmother who took pride in the accomplishments of her family. Her favorite pastime was taking walks and enjoying natures beauty, especially with her dog, Sammy.

Jacalyn is survived by her sons, Nicholas Sears, Ted ( Ashley Marks) Sears, boyfriend, Eric Taylor, grandchildren, Kaleb, Nathaniel, Austin, Evan, Alex, Victoria, and Bryleigh Sears, Caden Auxter, Jacob, Preston and Harper Sears, brothers, Bruce (Cheryle) Morgan, Michael (Debra) Morgan and sister-in-law, Rhonda Morgan. He was preceded in death by her parents, son, Richard Sears, and brother, Timothy Morgan.

A celebration of Jacalyn’s life will be scheduled sometime in the near future. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
