J. Lorraine Paget

J. Lorraine (Dumville) Paget, 91, of Perrysburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Perrysburg Commons. She was born on July 17, 1926 on the family farm near Rocanville, Saskatchewan to John Edwin and Emily (Parker Jones) Dumville, where she grew up with five siblings. Upon graduation from high school, Lorraine moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where she met and married Harold D. Paget, an engineering student at UBC, in 1949. Following his graduation, they moved to Windsor, Ontario. In later years, work opportunities took them to Detroit, Seattle, and Toledo. They moved to Perrysburg in 1970, becoming members of First Baptist Church in 1976. Harold died in November of 1994. Lorraine’s main interests were home and family, volunteering, and serving her Lord. Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Barbara (David) Glaser of Arizona, Joan (Michael) Ross of Mexico, and Jill (Michael) Van Vlerah of Perrysburg; grandchildren, Stephen, Benjamin (Andrea), and Aaron (Sharon) Ross, Andrew (Beatriz) Glaser, Emily (William) Harbauer and Joshua Van Vlerah; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Abigail, Alexander, Rylan, Peyton, and Gerrick Ross, Paul Harbauer and Isabelle Glaser; sister, Elaine (Ralph) Burrett of Vancouver, BC; sister-in-law, Thelma (Fred) Dumville of Chilliwack, BC; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Perrysburg, 590 W. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mission Aviation Fellowship, P.O.
