Ivan Clyde Cutlip, age 80, of Toledo, died December 29, 2011 at The Toledo Hospital. He was born June 24, 1931 in Huntington, W.Va. to the late Walter and Izola Holcomb Cutlip. He was also preceded in death by wives, Carole and Verna Lee; and son, Steven Cutlip. A graduate of Scott High School, Ivan retired from A.P. Parts after many years of service. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was very active in the V.F.W. including: life member of Post 2898, holding several offices; Past District 1 Judge Advocate; and Past Lucas County Council Commander. He also was Past President of Dads Foreign Service Veterans Post 13 and a member of American Legion Post 110 and the Sylvania Moose Lodge. Left to cherish Ivans memory are his children, Debra Larry Lannen, Valerie Milan, Daren Cutlip and Laura Feldhouse; beloved step children, Linda Lee Rick Kleparek, Kathy George Eggert, Joanna Ranes and Karen Mike Isbell; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. with V.F.W. memorial services at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 6, 2012 in the funeral home followed by military graveside rites conducted by the Lucas County Burial Corps at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Honor Flight of NW Ohio or to the family.
