Irma H Bennett

Irma H. Bennett passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2017, surrounded and supported by her loving family. She was 91. Irma was born in Greifswald, Germany. She was living in Bremen, Germany when she met the love of her life, Marshall, in 1948 when he was stationed there in the service. They were married for sixty-three years when Marshall passed away in 2012. Irma dedicated her life to the happiness of her husband, children, grandchildren and the many dogs they loved through the years. She was a volunteer with the Toledo Hospital Auxiliary, and worked part-time after her children were grown as a receptionist at the family owned Bennett Funeral Home. Irma is survived by her son Marshall A. Bennett, Jr. and his wife Pamela; daughter Victoria Haidet and her husband Jeff; granddaughter Natalie Brawner and her wife Ashley; granddaughter Nicole Melton and her husband Jason; grandson Brian Haidet; and 2 great-grandchildren Lucy Brawner and Everett Melton. They will celebrate Irmas life privately as the close family they have always been.
