Iole Giorgena Giovannucci

Iole Giorgena Giovannucci passed away on Thursday February 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 27, 1931 in Pratola Peligna, Italy. Iole came to America seeking and finding the love of her life spouse Tony Giovannucci. They were married for 66 years and inseparable. Iole enjoyed serving others and making her home theirs. She loved her 6 sisters and brother who all journeyed to this country together along with her father Quirino Dipillo and mother Maria Dipillo who both preceded her in death as well as her brother Filipo Dipillo, sister Emilia DiPetro(Nello DiPetro), brother in law Elvio Pescara and Alessandro Vinci and grandson Nicholas Ryan Rock. Iole is survived by her husband Tony, Her sisters Liberata Vinci, Elveria Pescara, Emma Kester(Alvin Kester), Rosina Kester(Bob Kester), daughters Donna Greene, Antonia Rock(Joe Rock), son Rocco Giovannucci(Kim Giovannucci), grandchildren Amy Webb, Danielle Greene, Dena Greene(Andre Vanterpool), Brandy Wardlow(Wayne (JR) Wardlow), Andrew Giovannucci, TJ Rock, Nathan Rock(Jennie Rock). Her great grandchildren, Willow Webb, Alexis Lemon, Bryce Wardlow, Nicholas Rock, Kaelyn Rock, and a host of Nieces and nephews. Iole defined motherly love and there is no doubt she is with the lord in heaven! We love you mom forever! Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish at Sacred Heart, 509 Oswald Street, Toledo, OH. Iole will lie in state from 10:00 am until the start of Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
