Illagean Corinne Frusher died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 3, 2024. Born to her parents, Emil and Corinne (Barr) Boos on July 7, 1937, she grew up in the Toledo area. She attended Perrysburg High School but did not graduate until later when she proudly went back and received her GED.
She met her husband Lowell James and they were married on April 17, 1954. Being a homemaker was her mainstay and Illagean always made folks feel welcomed into their home. Crafting, sewing, crocheting, and teaching Sunday school were passions of hers. Long time member of Roberts Chapel and Heritage Church, her faith was a priority.
Cooking was not her favorite chore, but she did love mashed potatoes, meatloaf, hot tea, and pie.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Illa (Robert) Kirby, Lowell Ray (Stacy) Frusher, Luann (Matt) Asher; grandchildren, Katie (Dave) Sanchez, Chrissy Vogelpohl, Timothy (Lindsay) Vogelpohl, Kari Crosby, Lowell CD (Liz) Frusher, Matt (Mariah) Vogelpohl, Michelle Frusher, Austin, Everett, Wyatt, and Garret Asher; 11 great grandchildren. Preceding Illagean in death was husband, Lowell James Frusher.
