Donna Jean Sprague

Donna Jean Sprague went to her heavenly home on June 16, 2025.

Donna was born on June 12, 1933, in Attica, Ohio to Walter and Wanda Stockmaster. She married Paul Sprague on March 27, 1954, and he preceded her in death in 2019.

Paul and Donna raised three beautiful girls: Sheri, Patti, and Susan, all of whom survive. Donna was an incredible cook, devoted homemaker, as well as a cherished Mother and Mimi. She enjoyed telling stories of her upbringing in Attica and was constantly in tune with the current events of the world.

Some of our favorite memories will be of Donna and Paul at their lake house in Ludington, Michigan. Everything Donna made was excellent and we will miss her smiles and laughter while cooking and baking. Over the years, Donna had many furbabies who no doubt greeted her with wags and kisses in heaven.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Sheri Reuther, Patti (Jim) Essman, and Susan (John) Kopka; sisters: Sharon (Tom) Nims and Leslie (Brian) Cheeks; brothers: Chris (Donna) Stockmaster and Larry (Jolee) Stockmaster; granddaughters: Christine (Andrew) Seeholzer and McKenna Essman; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral service will held be June 18, 2025 at 11:30am at Toledo Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with visitation starting at 11:00am. A luncheon will be provided after the service. Memorial contributions in Donna’s honor may be directed to any Humane Society location of the donor’s choosing.
