Ida Margaret Vanscoder

Ida Margaret VanScoder, 95, of Holland, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on May 27, 1920 in Delphos, Ohio to Edward G. and Harriet C. (Studer) Reese. She married Harry V. Cramer of Holland in 1940 and later following his death she married Lawrence B. VanScoder in 1972 in Holland, Ohio. Ida was a 1938 graduate of Holland High School. She later worked as caregiver at Mercy Hospital for over 56 years before retiring in 2001. Ida was also a lifelong member of Holland Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and reading the bible. She liked to travel to Mexico and all of the United States and could often be found camping. Ida was a kind and generous woman who will be greatly missed by all. Ida is survived by her son, Kenneth (Dorothy) Cramer; step-daughter, Julie Fieldman; step-son, Michael VanScoder; grandchildren, Dena (Brett) Hite and Debra Lashaway; great-grandchildren, Kevin Hite, Kristina Hite, Kenneth “K.J.” (Shelby) and Brandon Lashaway. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Harry Cramer; second husband, Lawrence “Buss” VanScoder; siblings, Norma Jean Miller, Bud Reese, Bill Reese, Jim Reese, Peggy Hall and Donald Reese. Friends will be received on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879) where a funeral service will begin at noon.
