Ian Macleod

September 25, 1939 — December 19, 2013

Ian MacLeod, 74, of Rossford died Thursday morning, December 19th, 2013, after a long illness. Ian was born September 25, 1939 in Glasgow, Scotland to Malcom and Jessie Coleman MacLeod. He met the love of his life, Helen (Walker), while Ian was serving in the British Army. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Ian enjoyed running and competed in several races including the Toledo Marathon and he always placed well in his division. With his wife, Helen, he enjoyed traveling and they had seen much of the world. Besides Helen, he leaves two daughters, Barbara of Oakland Township, Michigan and Fiona (Kevin) Romanko of Sycamore, Ohio; four grandchildren, Gavin Mahoney and Alec, Wesley and Grace Romanko. He also leaves a niece, and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held January 18, 2014 from 1:30 until 5pm (memorial service at 2:30pm) at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home at 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
