Howard C. Troxell, 89, of Millbury passed away early Saturday, March 19, 2016, in Pemberville, Ohio. Howard was born April 4, 1926, in Worley, Kentucky, to Edward and Theodora (Heath) Troxell. He married Daisy M. Moses in Harlan, Kentucky, on October 3, 1949, and she survives. Howard had worked as a coal miner, store owner and construction worker. In 1989 he retired from Lime City Stone Co. He had been a member of Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee. Howard enjoyed playing his guitar, was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed traveling. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family. Surviving Howard are his wife, Daisy Troxell, daughters, Phyllis Janelle Tucker, Mary Ann Conley, Teresa (Donald) Weiss, Carol Snyder Troxell, sons, Charles Nathan (Lori) Wallace, Howard Butch Troxell, and James Troxell; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother, Harold Troxell; sisters, Frances Robbins, Eula Mae (Forester) Watkins and Betty Davis. His parents and brother, Raymond Troxell, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio. The funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016, in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
