Howard “The Duck” Reichow, Jr., 74, went on the last flight of his journey on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Born on January 7, 1950, he graduated from Waite High School and the University of Toledo. Howard retired from Toledo Edison, where he obtained the name, “Howard the Duck”. He owned and operated Reichow Electric for nearly 50 years. The Duck absolutely loved and was very proud to have worked with Toledo Edison and create his own business. He also loved boating and fishing and was a member of TYC and ORYC.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Howard, Sr.; brother, Steve Reichow; and son, Bryan Reichow. He is survived by wife, Donna Buza; daughter, Julie (Chris) Stone; sister, Shirley (Tom) St. Julian; brother, John Reichow; grandson, Casey Stone; granddaughter, Samantha Stone; sister-in-law, Debbie Reichow; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and countless clients and friends.
Howard will be laid to rest privately at Toledo Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, Toledo. The family wishes to Thank Toledo Hospital ICU Gen 9, Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg, and their many friends and family members for all the love and support through this difficult time. Please hold Howard in your hearts and prayers forever. Fly high and free my love, I will miss you.
