Hope Marie Poirier

Hope Maire Poirier, 49 years old, passed on April 12, 2021 in Rossford, Ohio after battling Stage 4 Cancer and Stage 5 Reno Kidney Failure. She moved to Ohio on March 10th, 2021 prior to she was residing in Waterford, Pontiac since January of 2020. Hope leaves to cherish her memory 5 children and 10 grandchildren with 1 on the way in September. She is survived by her children, Shana Douglas of Saginaw (4 grandchildren), Troy Leach Jr of Saginaw (2 grandchildren & one of the way), Tiara Gauthier of Flint (4 grandchildren), Wyatt Poirier of Gaylord, and Emily Poirier of Gaylord; siblings, Judith Gisselbrecht of California, Glenda Morgan of Ohio, Mary Downing of Ohio, Lori Duma of Ohio, Susan Kissel of Michigan, and Scott Szymanski of California. Many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joye Mae Morgan; father, William Lee Morgan; and brother, Michael Allen Szymanski. Hope loved to spend time with children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends. She loved to sing and dance and would light up the room when she entered it.
