Hilda Judy Schiller, age 94, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed to her Heavenly Home on October 23, 2008. She was born September 2, 1914, in Sylvania, Ohio, the daughter of Horace G. and Gertrude Hildebrand Randall. She was married in 1944 to Lawrence Jack Schiller, who survives together with their children: John R. Schiller of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, Mary Coffee of Oak Harbor, and Barbara Lodermeier of Lima, Ohio; and her six grandchildren: Kerry Coffee, Clark Coffee, John Barton Coffee, Mary Elisabeth Owens, Eric Seller, and Ann Seller. Preceded in death, besides her parents, were a sister, Helen Hayes, and a brother, Mac Randall. Judy was a member of the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church, serving as Altar Guild Chairman for many years. She served as president of the Oak Harbor Arts Council and was also on the Board of the Public Library. She was a member of the Duplicate Bridge Club and a member of the Literary and Social Club since 1949. Judy and her husband Jack enjoyed many years boating with their friends and family. She loved playing bridge, traveling, and being involved in her community. There will be no visitation. Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at the Oak Harbor United Methodist Church, 360 East Ottawa Street, on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. A memorial contribution may be made to any of the following organizations: Oak Harbor United Methodist Church Foundation, Dyslexia Fund of the Ottawa County Community Foundation, or Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch. Arrangements have been handled by Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor.
