Hershel Frank Spears, age 84, passed away in Estero Florida on January 14, 2009. The son of Eivin and Bertha May Jacobs Spears, he was born on December 6, 1924 in Nitro, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Faye White; children, Juanita Lester, LuAnn Whitaker, Rick Spears, Glenn Byrd, Donald Hudkins; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Bill Spears.
