Herma Kathleen Halverson

Herma K. Halverson, 81, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Saturday August 7th, 2010, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Herma was born in Osceola, WI on October 30, 1928 to Herman J. and Emma C. Wagner Goetkin. She married Leslie M. Halverson in Minnesota on December 1, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 23, 1993. Herma and her husband owned and operated a grocery store in Brooklyn, WI for many years retiring in 1993. Survivors include her children, Brian Halverson, Jeanne Friedman, Bob Marcie Halverson, and Pam Terry Schilhabel, along with 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Herma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Irene Larson, Delores Heinsohn, brother, Harold Goetkin, and daughter-in-law, Nicole Halverson. At her request, Herma will be cremated and interred at a family service next to her husband in Downing Cemetery, Downing, WI Memorial contributions in Hermas name may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
