Henry F. Pawlecki, Jr.

Henry Frank “Sonny” Pawlecki, Jr. age 84, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025, at home. He was born on March 30, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio to Henry and Louise (Manz) Pawlecki who preceded him in death. He was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School and then attended the University of Toledo. Henry also served in the Ohio Army National Guard Military Police. He went on to work as a Process Engineer, retiring from Electroplasma, Inc. in 2003.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy (Cavacece), his daughters, Anne (Kyle) Vonderheide, Audrey (Scott) Boydston, Andrea Linne; grandchildren, Austin Cupp, Hunter Franklin, Alexis Franklin, Blake Boydston; sisters-in-law Joanne Owens Monica Feliciano and Nancy Pawlecki; brother-in-law John (Bonnie) Cavacece and numerous nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by his brothers David and John and his granddaughter Katelyn Grace Boydston.

After retirement, he fulfilled a dream by building his own house, traveling to the Holy Land and dedicating more time to his church. He taught a New Believer’s Class at Bethel Assembly of God where he also served as a Deacon and volunteered on the Missions Committee. His love for Jesus Christ guided his every move and he enjoyed being in fellowship with others. He was an inventor, always curious about how things worked and always designing something new. He found great delight in growing vegetables and working in his garden. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his church family, children and grandchildren.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral and Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 am at Bethel Assembly of God, 665 W. Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg.
