Henry J. Loehden

Henry J. Loehden, 73, of Port Clinton, OH passed away, Monday, August 25, 2008, at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born December 09, 1934 in Port Clinton, O, the son of John and Anna Grabau Loehden. Henry was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during 1957 to 1959. He retired from the Erie Ordinance Depot and also worked part time after serving in the Army at Standard Products. Henry was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and also was a member of the choir. He was a member of the American Legion Post #113. Henry enjoyed putting together puzzles of all kinds. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sister: Helen John Belser of Fairfield Glade, TN; Nieces and Nephews; a Great-Niece and Great-Nephew and Cousins living in Germany. Henry was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8PM, Thursday, August 28, 2008, at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Karl Kessler at 11:00AM, Friday, August 29, 2008, in Peace Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH, with visitation from 10:00AM till the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Henry may be given to Peace Lutheran Church.
