Henry C Hintz

Henry C. “Hank” Hintz, 94, of Holland, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Spring Meadows Senior Community. He was born on July 14, 1921 in Swanton, Ohio to Adam and Veronica Hintz and he married Wilma P. Adams on January 19, 1945. Hank was a 49 year member of the American Legion Holland Post 646. He worked at Champion Spark Plug for 30 years retiring in 1982. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Detroit Tigers and Toledo Mud Hens. Hank is survived by his loving children, Ron (Sue) Hintz, Tom Hintz and Debbie (Ron) Reed; grandchildren, Amy Hintz Miller, Adam Hintz, Jason Hintz, Ryan Reed and Cory Reed; seven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Wilma Hintz. Friends will be received on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879) with American Legion services at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery.
